Worship.... for Men?

WORSHIP

This request for an article regarding Worship and the Holy Spirit has
been extremely challenging.  Talking to Mark on several occasions, I've told him the delay is not due to laziness.  Regarding worship, I just don't know where to begin.

Have you every heard a child or new believer pray?  They might prefacetheir prayer with, "I don't know how to pray very well."
Unfortunately, they've listened to people like me, old Christians with
Bible-Words, pray.  I learn to pray listening to them; their simple
understanding of the gospel, their humility, their child-like faith.

I believe worship begins with the realization that He is God.  Prior to
throwing three Jewish boys into a fiery furnace, the witness to King
Nebuchadnezzar was this (paraphrased from Daniel 3: 17 - 18): "The God we serve is able to save us, but even if He doesn't, we're still not going to serve or worship your gods."  I believe that this declaration is a tremendous example of what worship today should be.  The Lord can do whatever He deems right.  And, whatever that is, we're trusting Him!

Hallelujah!  He is always faithful, abounding in grace and mercy.
Humbling ourselves and trusting Him, we find that His ways, we find His goodness and loving kindness.  We find that is presence is known by His word not dependant on emotions or feelings.

"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." Matt 18:20, NASU

The question is not how to invite the Holy Spirit into a Bible study or
worship service.  He is there.  The question is to what degree of
pitifulness are you willing to humble yourself and trust God?  What
stronghold is in your heart that is not God?  Worship:  realizing the
strongholds are sand, He is the rock.
