But you said……

You said ask and I will receive. So I expect to receive within 24 hours.

You said you would show me the way. So I expect the path to be as clear as an airport runway.

You said my wife is a good gift. So I expect her to always agree with me.

You said you would answer my prayers.  So I expect the answer to always be yes.

You said, with you there is always rest. So I do not expect to work so hard.

You said you would supply all my needs. So I expect total financial freedom.

Have you given your live to me? Have I bought only a percentage   of you?  I have defined my word as truth, why have you changed the definitions? Does the clay tell the potter what to do? Does the student know more than the teacher?  Do the sheep lead the shepherd?

Conclusion

Replace “expect” with trust.  Expect that if you have truly given   your life to Jesus he will mold you and teach you and lead you,     and that all of his promises will come to pass. Why, because HE loves you, and because he said………
